Change

This is a poem I wrote for English 12. After struggles in my life, this is the best way to explain how I felt.

When I thought my life turned for the worst,
When events changed the one I wanted to be,
When I realized the world was cursed,
I wanted to know what happened to me.

I did not change all on my own,
but somehow life changed me.
I felt like my world was a world unknown.
I wanted to know what happened to me.

The answer is not so clear to me,
what this question to life might bring.
All I know is I want to see,
what life's song might make me sing.

Now, the world is not so black and white,
but all God's colors make it all right.
